Trail Blazers @ Raptors Game Thread
After knocking off the Bulls at the Rose Garden on Monday, the Blazers must take their show on the road for a three-game in four-night road trip, starting in Toronto on Friday. Portland has shown in recent wins they have the talent to compete and defeat the elite teams in the League, but lately, playing on the road has become a difficult task. This is a very winnable game, as the Raptors are only 9-15 on their home floor and have won just one time in their last 10 games.
If the Blazers are to kick off their road trip right, they must run their offense through LaMarcus Aldridge. Every time down the floor, LA needs to be touching the ball. Toronto has no big men capable of defending him one-on-one and if they decide to play him straight up then LA could be in line for a new career high. On the other hand, if they double, send cutters slashing to the hoop or have shooters lined up on the perimeter waiting to make the defense pay. Get off to a fast start and let Aldridge bring it home.
