Trail Blazers vs. Clippers Game Thread
After grinding out a must win in Sacramento the night previous, Portland heads home for the first of a five-game homestand as they look for the season sweep of the Clippers. Both teams played last night, so there will be no advantage stamina wise either way and Portland historically dominates Los Angeles in the Rose City, posting a 80-16 all-time record.
While all eyes will be on the LaMarcus Aldridge and Blake Griffin matchup, and rightfully so, this game, just like last night's will be won or lost based upon Portland's role players. LA proved he could get his numbers regardless of double teams against the Kings, but what really kept the Blazers afloat were the scoring outputs of both Andre Miller and Nicolas Batum. Once again, Portland needs two other players to score 17 or more to lower the scoring burden from Aldridge. continue
