Trail Blazers vs. Nets Game Thread

One game away from the halfway mark, the Trail Blazers stand pat at 20 wins and 20 losses. Losers of 3 straight, Portland is now just a mere 1.5 games ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies for 8th place out West. Just because this game is at the Rose Garden, doesn't mean it's an automatic W. The Blazers have lost back-to-back games at home and the Nets showed enough grit in beating Portland back in New Jersey earlier this year.

As great as Aldridge has been playing, him going off for big nights isn't enough. The bench needs more than one player to be on for the night. Portland needs more than just role players helping out LA on the offensive end. It's all about defense and frankly the D was weak last night. Once the game is over and if the Nets were held to under 50% shooting, attempted less than 15 free throws, and were forced into 15+ turnovers, then the Blazers will win the game. Defense wins the game tonight.continue
