Game Thread: Trail Blazers @ Suns
Portland couldn't have asked for a more difficult start to a 4-game road trip. Not only is it the 2nd half of a back-to-back, but with the late TNT start last night, the Blazers probably got into Phoenix around 3-4 AM.
For Portland to come out on top, we need to do exactly what we did against Orlando, attack the paint. The Trail Blazers racked up 50 points in the paint last night and that was against Dwight Howard. Phoenix has nothing that resembles D12, so it should be easier to score inside if the Blazers make it a priority. Also, stop fast breaks points. We held PHX to 2 last Tuesday and shut out Orlando last night. Keep up the transition D and the wins will continue to pile up.
