LaMarcus Aldridge - All-Star?

For the 2nd time in less than a month, the Trail Blazers head back down to Big D to face the Mavs. Only this time, they'll be facing an entirely different team. Against the Bucks on Saturday, Caron Butler suffered some cartilage damage, which will sideline him quite some time. Also, a sprained right knee will keep Dirk Nowitzki out of his 5th straight game. Dallas, 25-8 on the season, is currently 1-3 without Dirk, with their only win coming against the Cavaliers.

Normally, Portland would be considered an underdog in an arena such as Dallas, but with the Mavs' two best players out for this contest and Portland streaking, winners of 6 of their last 8, the stars could be aligning for the Trail Blazers to get a rare win in Dallas. How can they win this game? First, keep the L-Train on the tracks. He needs to stay out of foul trouble and attack the undersized Shawn Marion who has been moved over to the 4 spot while Dirk has been out. continue
