The Memphis Grizzlies had not beaten the Portland Trail Blazers at home in almost five years.

    On Monday, that all ended.

Memphis (11-14) snapped its eight-game skid to Portland (12-13) at FedExForum after forcing 18 turnovers and outscoring Portland 25-9 in the fourth quarter in the 86-73 loss.

Zach Randolph of Memphis led all scorers with 25 points and 20 rebounds, including eight offensive boards as the Grizzlies picked up their third consecutive win.

Wesley Matthews scored 18 points for Portland and Andre Miller added 14 points and nine assists as the Trail Blazers ended with a season-low 73 points.

Portland outscored Memphis 22-12 in the third quarter to hold a 64-62 edge, but fell flat in the fourth, producing a season-low nine points in the quarter and shooting 37 percent from the floor.

The Grizzlies’ Rudy Gay finished with 16 points and hit 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. O.J. Mayo had 14 points and scored his first eight in the second quarter as Memphis went up 49-42 at halftime.

Portland would be riddled with turnovers the entire game, committing 11 in the first half and tying its season-high in giveaways at 18 for the third time this season.

Memphis picked the lose ball and bad passes, completing an 8-0 run at the beginning of the fourth, which reclaimed a lead it wouldn't relinquish.

LaMarcus Aldridge ended with 13 point on 6-of-13 shooting and six rebounds. Aldridge found himself sitting on the bench early in the third period after picking up his fourth foul.

Matthews would answer in his absence, scoring seven points in the third and giving Portland a slim edge heading into the final quarter.

Marcus Camby hustled for 14 rebounds and six points, but the Trail Blazers were outworked on the boards 50-44.

Brandon Roy was limited to seven points and shot 3-of-16 from the field on 34 minutes. He went scoreless in the first two quarters, recording his first field goal on a three-point play in the third quarter.

The Trail Blazers, which are 1-2 on this four-game trip, will pack up one more time and head out to Dallas on Wednesday. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 PM.
