The Portland Trail Blazers have won three straight in Miami and they look to split the series for the second year in a row with the Heat in Tuesday’s back-to-back. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:30 PM.

Portland (36-27) has won seven of the past nine at American Airlines Arena to help post a 17-5 road record against Miami (43-20).

The Trail Blazers started their four-game journey on the right foot Monday, sweeping the Orlando Magic, 89-85, as LaMarcus Aldridge scored 24 points and three rebounds to post Portland’s sixth consecutive road win since March 2, 2002.

Andre Miller scored 15 points, a game-high seven assists and four rebounds. Wesley Matthews had 13 points and hit two three pointers. Gerald Wallace had nine points and tied a game-high 10 rebounds with Marcus Camby for the Trail Blazers’ third win in a row overall.

Both teams met for the first time of the season on Jan. 9, when LeBron James marked a double-double with 44 points and 13 rebounds and scored 11 of the Heat’s last 15 points in the fourth quarter to beat Portland, 107-100, in overtime at the Rose Garden.

Wade scored 34 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Bosh added 18 points and eight rebounds as Miami shot 57 percent from the floor.

Aldridge, who helped the Trail Blazers shoot 41.8 percent, also notched a double-double with 31 points and 14 rebounds, while tying a career-high seven assists. Batum reached 22 points, Matthews had 14 and Mills chipped in with 13 points to outscore Miami’s bench 25-11.

Portland, which looks to split the series for the second straight year, has claimed five of the last seven outings between both teams.

Miami has slumped over the past week, tying its worst losing streak of the season of four games since mid January.

The Heat were swept by the Chicago Bulls on Sunday after LeBron missed a lay-in and Wade missed a jumper in the closing seconds of the 87-86 finale.

James finished with 26 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Bosh scored 23 points and five rebounds, while Wade ended with 20 points, five assists, but had a game-high seven turnovers.

Last season, Brandon Roy led Portland with 26.5 points in two meetings, while Aldridge followed with 23.0 points and eight rebounds in one game.

In two games against the Trail Blazers last year, James averaged 37.0 points as a Cleveland Cavalier, Bosh averaged 28.0 points as a member of the Toronto Raptors and Wade notched 25.0 points and 22 assists.

The Trail Blazers will be without Greg Oden and Elliot Williams, who are both sidelined with knee-related injuries.
