    -- The Trail Blazers have now sold out 145 straight games at the Rose Garden (including regular season and playoffs), dating back to Dec. 21, 2007 … Portland is second in the NBA in average home attendance (20,488).

    -- With the win Houston avoided a season sweep by the Trail Blazers, with the series ending 2-1 in Portland’s favor … The Rockets’ win marked their first in the Rose Garden since 2/11/08, ending a stretch of four straight home wins over Houston for the Trail Blazers … Houston has now won six straight road games, as well as five straight overall.

    -- Portland (33-27) is one game behind the team’s record at the 60-game mark from last season (34-26) … The Trail Blazers have played two more road games (30) than after 60 games last year (28), when Portland went on to win 50 games and claim the sixth seed in the Western Conference Playoffs.

    -- Kyle Lowry notched a double-double for the Rockets with 21 points  and 11 assists, adding four rebounds … Lowry led the Rockets in points (13), assists (six) and rebounds (four, tied with C. Hayes) at the half … Lowry had six assists in the first quarter.

    -- Kevin Martin scored 20 points (7-14 FG), adding four rebounds and four assists for the Rockets.

    -- Nicolas Batum scored a game-high 22 points  (7-12 FG, 3-6 3PT, 5-5 FT) to go along with four rebounds … Batum has scored at least 20 points in 10 different games this season.

    -- In his second game as a Trail Blazer, Gerald Wallace notched a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, adding three steals in 34 minutes off the bench for Portland.

    -- The Rockets gathered a 52-26 advantage in points in the paint, as well as a 8–2 edge in fastbreak points … Houston committed 13 turnovers that lead to 11 Trail Blazers points, while Portland gave it away 16 times, leading to 16 Rockets points … Entering the game, Portland was averaging 13.4 turnovers per game (fifth in NBA) and held a turnover differential average of 2.39 (second in NBA).

    -- Jarron Collins, signed earlier in the day, made his debut as a Trail Blazer, playing two minutes and grabbing one rebound.
