    • Greg Oden left the game with a fractured left patella at the 7:45 mark of the first quarter … Oden had averaged 15.6 points in his last seven games prior to tonight, his best seven-game scoring stretch of his career … Entering tonight, he ranked second in the league in blocks (2.40) and fourth in field goal shooting (60.5%).

    • Portland has now defeated Houston in three straight regular season home games at the Rose Garden … The home team has won the last six games in the series.
