“I thought we looked like we had heavy legs. That third quarter, it looked kinda like we were in slow motion and we missed our free throws tonight. We shot 58% from the free throw line but in the fourth quarter I thought we had some guys that had some legs. ‘Dre and Dante I thought gave us a lift and we were able to have a 31 point quarter. We did what we needed to do to get through this game.

On Dante Cunningham
“He’s doing good things. He’s in the right place offensively. Same thing on the defensive end of the floor, making plays, rebounding the ball. The one thing if there is a concern, it’s feeling comfortable taking shots and knocking those shots down. He’s doing that. He’s getting shots within the offense and he’s taking the right shot and knocking them down.”

“You don’t want to be that team that is the first to lose but as I told our guys our focus needs to be regardless of that team’s record, we need to play as if they are 12-0 and not 0-12. You know they’re going to give an effort and try and play their way out of it. It’s similar to losing 3 or 4 in a row. You kind of lose your confidence and what you don’t want to do is give a team confidence. I thought in that first half they were able to run their stuff and score. They just buried us in the paint in the first half and really for the game. They had 52 points in the paint tonight.”

“It was a team effort and all the guys played well, especially in that fourth quarter when we all came through and brought a lot of energy. We came together and pulled away… It was a team effort.”

“He’s very strong. He has big, heavy legs and he’s very hard to move. He has very good touch around the basket. Somebody like that is very tough to guard.”

 “I think Greg did a good job of going back at Lopez. He had a really good game but Greg did a good job again at finishing the passes that we dropped inside. Rudy did a good job of making some big threes – some timely threes so that was good to have.”
