I think that although we have lost a few games in the first half of the season there is no cause for panic. Depth is a problem but only due to the coaching that plays only starters, how do you get game experience without play time? We have the 1st half rookie of the year in Lillard and i think we will finish in the bottom ten in the league. This put us in a great position

Lamarcus take a day off in fact don't play for a game or two then come off the bench 1 minute into the 2nd or 3rd game so you are 100%, well I guess that's just my opinion.

Due to the Sam Bowie revelation, that he lied about his knee injury before the '84 NBA draft, I feel the league should make a special exception of a 2nd round pick to the Blazers for their loss.

Yesterday was the best day of the year for me because I took my son out trick or treating, the Blazers kicked ass, and the most hated Lakers were the team that the Blazers stomped. I don't know if anyone saw the injury to Marcus Lattimore of the South Carolina Gamecocks.
He dislocated his knee cap and it looked like it was broken for sure.
When he arrived at the hospital the doctor popped it back in and Marcus now can red shirt next season, rehab, and try to return in his senior season.

I was reading yesterday I'm not sure where, but the prediction was for Portland to win 27 games.

I am glad to see the new flopping penalties. There have been far too many possessions taken away from teams due to the flop and I feel the league has done the right thing in making players earn fouls rather then reading into flops. If not for the first quarter Portland played a great game. The Magic scored way too many 3 balls and eventually led by 23 in the 3rd quarter. With all the players at guard including a much improved Elliott Williams, Mills is better served playing over seas where he will get play time. With the Blazers he would be lucky to be the 3rd option at the point behind Felton, Smith, and Johnson. At shooting guard the team is stacked to the rafters with Matthews, Roy, Williams, and Diebler. In the end if the lock out continues the players who lose the most are the free agents who have less time to negotiate new contracts, not even time to speak with multiple teams. I don't understand how the announcers knew when Cleveland's pick from the Clippers did not land where it was supposed to be that it was in the top three. They also knew that Utah's pick from the Nets was top three as soon as it was out of position. Andre @ PG, Wesley @ SG, Gerald @ SF, Lamarcus @ PF, and Nicolas @ C. with his quickness and defensive capabilities opponents will have to go small at center, Benefiting Lamarcus even more on the inside. Gerald could then play his normal small forward position

Although Wesley Matthews is on the outside looking in on the all-star game, He was an undrafted player two years ago and now makes more then the #1 draft pick. Next year it will be even tougher to pick the top 5 guards in the west. Right now he is in the top 8 guards in the west, with a few adjustments to his game, more rebounds and steals. I knew this was going to happen, not that it is alright but the game is in Los Angeles so you had to know Griffin was going to be there due to local fan preference. I am sure if you ask anyone in the northwest who should be an all-star they would say Lamarcus. I'm not satisfied that Chris is coming in for L.A. he needs to come in at center with L.A. on the court. I think he had some very good minutes with 2 boards, 2 points, a block, and a steal. With more minutes he will improve to a double - double with 3+ blocks per game . L.A. needs some help on the boards from someone who can get his own shot and put misses back in the

I think it was a terrible shooting game for the Trailblazers but the positive side is the hustle and hard work on the boards seems to be back. It's not easy to out-rebound a healthy Celtic team. L.A. 16 boards was awesome to see, Keep up the hard work. Patty Mills went to the hoop with authority last night which was what he needs to do to help L.A. get some easy buckets.

I believe Greg should resign for 3 years, one million a year guaranteed. To make-up for the last 3 years we wasted on him. I think he has a lot of good basketball in him, but he needs to prove it to himself and his fans. Then after 1 3/4 years of being healthy and playing well Portland should reward him with a big contract extension for his efforts.
