    GM Kevin Prtichard remarks
    McMillan:
"The plan is to try not to take a step back and continue to move forward in getting to the playoffs and then trying to go from there."

Can you discuss what Blake and Outlaw have meant to this team?

McMillan: "These things are always hard, certainly for a coaching staff and organization who have been close to the players when you have to make decisions like this. I’ve always tried to make our guys aware of all situations. Blake and Outlaw have been a part, certainly with me, of trying to turn this organization around and being a big part of that. Having to see this happen, you know it’s somewhat bittersweet in the sense that it’s bitter that you know you are letting go two class acts and two talented young players. Sweet in the sense of we know we’re getting back a very good player. It’s part of the NBA game. These things happen and you have to make your adjustments and move on.

"We knew we had to add some size, and now we add that guy at I think it gives us a legitimate shot of getting to the playoffs. Our goal is to not take a step back, to move forward and try and get ourselves in the playoffs again this year. We felt, in order to give ourselves a chance, we need to add a center."

Will Camby be able to come in and make an impact immediately?

McMillan: "I want to talk to him. I want to see where he’s at and we’ll make those decisions once he gets here."

Is there a chance he could be cleared to play tonight?

McMillan: "I don’t know. For us, I think their doctors are down there, so until they get back to L.A. I don’t think they’re going to. I wouldn’t think they would use our doctors to clear players."

Have you ever had a situation where you’re playing against the team that you traded with?

McMillan: "No. I’ve seen that happen, but I’ve never been a part of it. It’s kind of weird."

Does it feel like the end of an era, particularly with Travis having been the longest tenured member of the team?

McMillan: "I know that it’s two young guys that have helped me try and turn this whole situation around. They’ve done good things and been a big part. Blake was a starting guard last year. Outlaw, that sixth man for us. That, to me, was a difference in us turning this whole organization around."
