    The following six players will workout for the Portland Trail Blazers at the team's practice facility in Tualatin.


    KENTAVIOUS CALDWELL-POPE

    Position: Guard
    Height: 6-5
    Weight: 205
    Birthdate: Feb. 18, 1993
    From: Greenville, Ga. (Greenville HS, Ga.)
    College: Georgia

    NOTEWORTHY: Completed two standout seasons with the University of Georgia, averaging 15.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.92 steals and 33.0 minutes in 64 games … During an accolade-heavy sophomore season in 2012-13, earned Southeastern Conference Player of the Year as voted by conference coaches and the Associated Press, averaging 18.5 points (43.3% FG, 37.3% 3-PT, 79.9% FT), 7.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.03 steals and 33.9 minutes … A member of both All-SEC First Teams, becoming the first Georgia player since Dominique Wilkins in 1981 to sweep the major SEC Player of the Year awards … As a sophomore, was one of just nine NCAA Division I players to score in double figures in each of his team’s games … As a freshman in 2011-12, named to the SEC Coaches’ Freshman All-SEC Team … Led the Bulldogs in minutes (32.1), rebounds (5.2) and steals (1.81), while ranking second in scoring (13.2) as a freshman.

    NOTEWORTHY: Played four years at Florida Gulf Coast University, averaging 10.4 points (45.6% FG, 38.2% 3-PT), 4.9 rebounds, 1.01 steals and 24.5 minutes in 119 games … The 2012-13 Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year and unanimous choice for A-Sun All-Conference First Team … Averaged career bests of 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds as a senior … Led the Eagles in scoring (18.3) and rebounding (7.7) in the 2013 NCAA Tournament as the team became the first No. 15 seed to ever reach the Sweet 16 … Led all players with 24 points to go with nine rebounds in FCGU’s opening round win over No. 2 Georgetown … Named to the A-Sun All-Conference Second Team as a junior after averaging 12.8 points and 5.9 rebounds … First player in school history to top 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in a career.

    NOTEWORTHY: Played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin, averaging 7.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.21 blocks and 19.1 minutes in 119 games … Enjoyed a career season as senior in 2012-13, averaging career highs in points (11.0), rebounds (6.9), blocks (2.1) and minutes (28.5) … Selected to the 2013 All-Big Ten Conference Second Team, 2013 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Second Team All-District and was a member of the Big Ten All-Defensive Team … One of 30 finalists for the 2013 Naismith Award … His 73 blocks in 2012-13 are the most in a single season in Wisconsin history … Owns the all-time career blocks record at Wisconsin (144) … Named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten as a junior in 2011-12.

    NOTEWORTHY: Spent four years playing for the University of Washington, averaging 7.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.72 steals and 27.2 minutes in 118 games … Finished his career as the number two all-time assists leader at Washington with 469, and is the first Husky with 150-plus assists in two seasons … Set career highs in points (10.9), rebounds (3.2) and steals (1.00) as a senior … Fifth in the Pacific-12 Conference in 2012-13 in assists (4.6) and seventh in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5) … Left the Pac-12 as the active career assists leader … Recorded 182 total assists as a junior in 2011-12, the third-most all-time in a single season in school history … Ranked second in the Pac-12 in assists (5.2) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.4) in 2011-12 … Registered 82 assists as a freshman, the seventh-most ever by a Washington freshman.



    ELIJAH JOHNSON

    NOTEWORTHY: In four years playing at the University of Kansas, averaged 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.84 steals and 22.6 minutes in 135 games … Named Honorable Mention All-Big 12 Conference after averaging 9.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, a career-best 4.6 assists, 0.95 steals and 31.0 minutes … Selected to the preseason Wooden Award List, one of 50 players, and to the Bob Cousy Award watch list … Led the Jayhawks in assists (4.6) and was fourth in scoring (9.9) in 2012-13 … Fourth in the Big-12 in assists as a senior … Averaged a career-high 10.2 points as a junior in 2011-12, helping lead the Jayhawks to the NCAA Tournament Championship game … Ranks 13th all-time in school history in 3-pointers made (147) and is 15th  in Kansas history in assists (399).
