The Portland Trail Blazers got a much needed road win, and revenge for a bitter Valentine's Day home loss, by defeating the Washington Wizards 110-99 in front of 18,071 at the Verizon Center Saturday.

"It was good to bounce back against a team that beat us at home. They are a young team but we know they can really put up points and win big games. They beat the Lakers the other night here at home, came back and won after being down 20," said Portland guard Raymond Felton. "We played together, we defended and we were aggressive, so it was good win for us."

The Trail Blazers led the contest early but the Wizards hung with them, playing to a 27-27 tie after a first quarter in which both teams shot 60 percent or better.

Portland (20-21) pushed its lead to six points, 52-46, on Gerald Wallace's 18-foot jumper with two minutes left in the half. On the play, Marcus Camby got tangled up with Kevin Seraphin under the basket. The ensuing pushing match led to a technical foul for Seraphin, while Camby was ejected for a type-two flagrant foul.

Felton's technical free throw pushed Portland's lead to seven points, it's largest of the half, but Washington (9-30) would cut it to three points, 55-52, at the break.

LaMarcus Aldridge led all scorers with 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting in the first half and would go on to score a game-high 30 points, adding 10 rebounds for the contest's lone double-double.

Portland pushed the lead to eight points in the third quarter and 13 points in the fourth before settling for the final margin.

Jamal Crawford led the Trail Blazers reserves with 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting off the bench while Joel Przybilla grabbed nine boards filling in for Camby in the second half.

Raymond Felton scored 21 points and added five assists with no turnovers while Wallace scored 15 points and grabbed eight boards in a team-high 42 minutes.

"Guys played great," Aldridge said. "Jamal (Crawford) shot the ball well tonight so he was big off the bench. Raymond (Felton) played well. Gerald (Wallace) played well. I think everybody played well tonight and that’s what we want to have every night."

The Trail Blazers turned the ball over just seven times in the game and converted 26 of their 27 free throw attempts.

The Wizards were led by second-year guard John Wall with 25 points and a game high eight assists.

"I thought we were connected tonight. We played a solid game from start to finish," said Portland coach Nate McMillan. "Our whole team played well. It was a team win tonight."

Portland enjoys two days off before opening up another back-to-back at the Indiana Pacers Tuesday, 4 p.m. The game can be seen locally on Comcast SportsNet (Comcast channel 37). 750 AM The Game and NBA Audio League Pass will have the play-by-play call.
