Trail Blazers 112, Bobcats 68: Postgame Notes

• With 112 points in tonight’s win the Trail Blazers set a new season high for points scored, the 68 points scored by the Bobcats set a new season low for points scored by an opponent.
• Portland’s 44-point margin of victory tonight is tied for the eighth largest in team history.
• The 44-point margin of defeat was the worst loss in Charlotte Bobcats history, their previous worst loss was a 120-80 defeat March 3, 2011 at Denver.
• Portland has outscored their opponents by at least 38 points in consecutive home games for the first time in team history, Portland has also held their opponents to 71 points or fewer in consecutive home games for the first time in team history.
• The last time the Trail Blazers won by more than 44 points was Nov. 17, 1997 at Dallas when they won by 120-75.
• Jamal Crawford recorded more points than minutes tonight, scoring 24 points (9-of-14 FG) in just 21 minutes of playing time.
• Gerald Wallace made 570 starts for Charlotte in his career with the Bobcats, Charlotte’s starting lineup tonight has 322 combined starts.
• With 23 points on 7-of-14 shooting on the night Wallace has shot 50% from the field or better in every home game this season
• The Trail Blazers have won the last four meetings between the teams in Portland by an average margin of 25.25 points.
• Gerald Wallace and Raymond Felton both played more games and scored more points during their careers with Charlotte than any other players in Bobcats history.
• Portland’s 35 points in the first quarter set a new season high for points scored in the first period.
• The 61 first half points scored by the Trail Blazers are the most the team has put up in the first half so far this season.
• The Trail Blazers 26-point half time advantage marked the largest halftime lead for Portland this season.
• The Trail Blazers are now 7-0 at home, and 9-2 overall this season when going into halftime with the lead.
• Portland assistant coach Bernie Bickerstaff is the former head coach and general manager for the Bobcats.
• Tonight marks the first meeting between the teams since Charlotte hired former Trail Blazers’ GM Rich Cho.
• Marcus Camby tied a season high with five blocks tonight.
• Wesley Matthews set a new season-high with six assists tonight.
• Jamal Crawford scored 13 consecutive points for the Trail Blazers in the second quarter, shooting 5-of-5 from the field during the run including 3-of-3 3-point attempts.
• Portland improved their home record to 10-1 with the win, San Antonio is the only team with a better mark at home than the Trail Blazers with a record of 11-1.
• The Trail Blazers set season highs in points off turnovers (33), points in the paint (58), field goal percentage (55%), steals (18-tied) and blocks (11-tied).
• With Gerald Wallace, LaMarcus Aldridge and Jamal Crawford putting up, Portland had three separate players eclipse the 20-point mark for the first time this season since Dec. 29 against Denver when Crawford, Wesley Matthews and Raymond Felton all went for 20.
• Tonight marks the 170th consecutive sellout at the Rose Garden (including regular season and playoffs), dating back to Dec. 21, 2007.
